Wooden Rolling Pin Plain

A solid hardwood rolling pin without separate handles, a French-style pin that rolls on the dough itself and gives direct tactile feedback of the dough thickness during rolling. The wood has a slight warmth-absorbing quality that helps prevent chilled butter-based doughs from cracking under pressure. Suited to home bakers making shortcrust pastry, biscuits, and flat breads. The plain cylinder is the preferred format for rolling fondant because there are no handle grooves to create pressure marks on the surface. Wipe clean with a barely damp cloth; do not soak in water, as prolonged moisture causes wood to swell and eventually split.
