Balloon Whisk Silicone Coated

A balloon whisk with silicone-coated wire loops that protect the interior surface of non-stick bowls and pans from scratching during whisking. The silicone coating is heat-resistant to approximately 220 degrees Celsius, so it can stir sauces and custards directly in a non-stick saucepan on the stove without surface damage. Suited to home bakers who use non-stick cookware and want to protect their investment while still whisking in the pot. Note that the silicone coating slightly reduces aerating effectiveness for stiff or thick mixtures compared to bare metal; for Swiss meringue made over direct heat, a bare-wire whisk is preferred.
