Baking Sheet / Cookie Tray

A flat aluminium baking sheet with low rolled edges, the standard format for cookies, biscuits, roasting vegetables, and thin sheet cakes. The shallow rim allows air circulation around baked goods, contributing to even browning across the entire surface. Most cookie recipes assume a standard baking sheet format. Suited to home bakers at all experience levels. Line with parchment before each use to prevent sticking and simplify cleanup; scrubbing bare aluminium can leave surface marks that gradually affect performance. Cool the sheet completely before washing; pouring cold water over a hot aluminium sheet can cause it to warp permanently.
